A breast lift addresses sagging and reshapes and firms the breast. After removing excess skin the breast is then reshaped, increasing firmness and lift. A breast lift is sometimes combined with breast augmentation or breast reduction which either increases or decreases the size of the breast, respectively. A breast lift alone does not significantly alter the size or roundness of the top of the breast.
